Derrick Barnett with his May 8, 2005 Lake Sturgeon
caught from the Owen County White River area using
night crawler for bait. Lake Sturgeon are a catch and
release fish as they are on the endangered species list.

Jake Miller of Ellettsville with his 32 lb 32"  White River
Flathead Catfish take on live bait June 8th while bank
fishing . Jake said it took about 20 min. to land it on shore.

 

Jim Baird caught this nice 53 1/2  lb. 46 " Flathead
June 12, on live bait while fishing the Freedom area
White River.

Richard (Dick) Sink of Ellettsville caught a bucket of
nice Bluegills on Nov. 3rd 2005 before the temp reached
55 deg's. and the day high was 68 deg. Using crickets and fishing
12 foot deep he said they were biting so good he could only
use one pole.
